Supply Lists
Rockland Elementary Teachers provided the following supply lists for the 2026-27 school year.

- Regular size backpack (it should be big enough for carrying folder and projects to and from school and it should not have wheels)
- Pocket folder (this will be our communication tool between school and home and should accompany your child back and forth to school every day)
- Blanket (for rest time)
- Smock or a bigger t-shirt
- Headphones
- Plastic pencil box
- Reusable water bottle
- Set of extra clothes (pants, shirt, underwear & socks - labeled in a ziploc bag to keep in their cubby)
- 1 box of tissues to share with the class
- 1 package of baby wipes to share with the class

To help us get ready for our adventures, please bring the following items labeled with your child’s name where possible:
- A backpack
- A change of clothing (including underwear and socks) placed in a labeled bag
- 1 spill-proof water bottle
- Shoes with a Velcro closure (unless your child can already tie their own shoes)
- 1 plastic crayon box (approx. 8 1/2 x 5 1/2)
- A sturdy plastic pocket folder (with pockets at the bottom)

Your child will need to bring the following items on the first day of school :
- 2 boxes of tissues (for classroom use)
- 1 change of clothing (labeled with name in a plastic bag)
- 1 backpack (must be brought to school each day)
- 1 water bottle (must be brought to school each day)
- 1 extra-large SMILE

- 1 pocket folder of your choice
- A water bottle for the classroom
- A packet of antibacterial hand wipes
- Tissues for the classroom supply
- Personal headphones
- An extra outfit

- 1 pair of scissors
- 1 package of thin expo dry erase markers
- 3 marble notebooks (no spiral notebooks, please)
- 1 package of baby wipes
- Small headphones (no earbuds)
Everyday your child will need:
- A backpack
- A water bottle
- Sneakers
- Snack
- An extra change of clothes in their locker

We do not need any school supplies for the upcoming school year. We are utilizing the standard supplies that the school district provides.

Please put your child’s name on all items including clothing!
- 1 - 2-pocket folder for homework (plastic ones work best & last longer)
- 1 soft, zipper pencil case
- Two or three boxes of tissues to be shared with the class
- 1 package of skin-safe sanitizing wipes, to be replenished as needed
- 1 small personal hand sanitizer
- 1 container of Clorox wipes
- Refillable water bottle (non-metal and self-sealing/no open straw tops)
- Deodorant (to keep in locker, if needed)
- Sneakers (for recess & gym days)
- Two or three white cotton T-shirts for projects

- Oversized old shirt to be used as a smock for painting projects
- 1 - red folder
- 1 - blue folder
- 1 - green folder
- Please provide an extra change of clothes for your child for messes

5th grade students do not have desks of their own, only lockers. Everything they bring to school must fit in their lockers.
- (1) 2-inch binder
- 2 reams of wide ruled loose leaf paper
- 4 dividers for binder *You may choose to put folders in the binder for organization.
- 2 composition notebooks
- 1 bookbag with no wheels (it must fit into a locker)
- water bottle (plastic preferred)
- sneakers for P.E.
